When used correctly, technical plastics open up a more sustainable path than supposedly environmentally friendly cardboard rolls: They are almost endlessly recyclable, retain their properties over many cycles and conserve valuable resources. Noris Plastic has been thinking about the materials cycle since the company was founded in 1969 – we collect production waste, feed it back into the process and convert rejects into high-quality semi-finished products or new products. This results in less waste, while reducingthe CO2 balanceand raw material requirements in equal measure.
Resource-saving production in our own factory
On our premises, we close the loop during production: regrind from punching grids, start-up lumps or faulty batches are fed directly into internal processing lines and are then extruded again.
State-of-the-art screw geometries, precise dosing systems and seamless process control ensure consistent quality – even with high recycling percentages.
The result: durable winding cores, tubes and profiles with consistent material values that clearly outperform cardboard in terms of stability and eco-balance.
